I've been around long enough to realize that collecting and verifying email addresses for a download page is a fool's errand. Everytime I download something that requires a "valid" email address, I use a separate free email address that I never check. I'm assuming most people do that.

Before running Jimsim, you'll need to have Java 1.4.2 or greater installed on your machine. You can download it from Sun's Java Website

Once you have Java installed, download the following Jimsim Install file and run it. The install file will self install Jimsim on your system.

Windows Users:
You should just be able to click on the jar file to execute it. (If not, then you probably don't have Java installed properly. Try opening up a command window and typing java -jar install-jimsim-v1_1.jar)

Linux Users:
You're a Linux user, you don't need directions! Okay, if you have Java install and your path is set correctly, you only need to run java -jar install-jimsim-v1_1.jar from a shell window.

Jimsim is free to use for Personal use only. Corporate customers must contact me for permission.
